Hello Code is a website dedicated to teach programming to beginners through projects and practice, mostly Python and Java.
My name is Marta Rey and I am full-time programmer. I studied computer science back in 2008 and since then I have been writing programs and websites in different languages(python, java, php, etc) and enjoying programming.
My favorite thing about writing code is creating new tools from scratch. You just need to have an idea and through programming that idea turns into reality. It is an amazing feeling and I would like to help other people to learn this skill.
I was born and grew up in Spain.I moved to the United Kingdom in my 20s, as soon as I discovered the software engineering market was much better and advanced in the United Kingdom.
Apart from programming, I am also into graphic design and playing piano, which I learn on my own. Despite not being a professional, I am getting pretty good at it :)
